Nanny Magazine is the premiere trade publication for the in-home childcare industry. Nanny Magazine's readers are nannies who care for children ranging in age from newborn through age 18 and industry related professionals. 

Nanny Magazine will cover:

  • Hot topics affecting the nannies and children
  • Useful products and resources that are of benefit to nannies
  • Practical advice by industry professionals
  • Nanny and industry leader profiles 
  • Advertisements geared towards professionals in the nanny industry.

The magazine covers everything from a nanny’s relationship with their charges to their complex relationship with the parents. The magazine offers provoking features on hot topics, advice for nannies who are experiencing ethical dilemmas on the job, and relevant information about tax laws and legally binding contracts.

Deadlines are as follows for the digital publication:

Deadline: September 15 for January 1  Winter Issue 

Deadline: December 15  for April 1  Spring Issue  

Deadline:  March 15  for July 1  Summer Issue  

Deadline: June 15 for October 1 Fall Issue

This column will feature responses from selected individuals. Questions will be provided by Nanny Magazine.

Column authors are invited by the editors for our digital issues. Please do not submit to this category unless invited. 

Features include stories of strong interest to the nanny community, such as first-hand accounts, or an in-depth investigation of a particular subject, or a thoughtful essay exploring related experiences. For best practices writing a feature story, especially if you have no prior experience, please review this article for a how-to. Feature stories should be timely, relevant, interesting, engaging, and researched. Submit sources along with the article, if need be.

Please be advised there is a 750 word count for minor features and a 1250-1500 word count for major features.
